At least it wasn't zero again today. Tomorrow will likely be a wash. Looking at a 14 hour workday--minimum, followed by an early Saturday workday to boot.
Today's tally: 370 Running total: 8,449 / 775
Ended with: Ramithese's words pulled Arun from his pondering. Far to the north, where the peaks scratched heaven and pale blues colored both mountain and sky, he saw her gliding like windswept snow, a white with her wings stretched wide. "Your mate?" he asked.
I don't see a page yet for the 18th so I'm sticking this here. I dabbled for just a few minutes while waiting for a database migration at work. It just finished, so I'm updating this now because I won't get a chance to later.
Today's Tally: 172 Running Total: 8,621
Ended with: She eyed him with eyes redder than rubies. He found her expression weighing him although he knew nothing of the expressions of dragons. Still, there was a cautious wariness in her countenance. Then Arun’s eyes grew wide in revelation. It wasn’t fear, he realized. It was a warning. He would be tending to her offspring—her first offspring. His understanding was complete. Provoking a dragon was dangerous. Provoking a dragon’s mother was suicide.
Caught in threads. Nada for today. Blaming it to all the unsolved issues that need research. May be I get an epiphany tonight...or tomorrow, or the moment I least expect it.
